The match we have all been waiting for arrived today and with no result from the match at Santa Clara last month due to rain this match meant just that much more. Coming into the match Santa Clara had some impressive results and reached a National Ranking of #59 but as we all know that's just a number and USF has something to prove that last year's WCC 3rd place finish over them was no fluke. SCU came out with their usual antics and looked to flex their muscles. As the doubles point started USF had their chances only to see it slip in the #1 and #3 doubles. Against any Santa Clara team you cannot let up for one point because they are a relentless group and that style is what makes them who they are. The 2007 Dons however are a reslient group and responded in the singles with all matches on serve and Tommy Tu at #3 stepping his game up whens the rains would not let us continue. 5 and 6 have yet to be played and tomorrow it will all continue once again. For the Dons it's all about execution in this match and we all know what we need to do. We still control this outcome.
